2. Lancaster University
Lancaster University is a very prominent research university currently ranked in the top one per cent of private universities in Ghana. 3. Webster University, Ghana
Webster Ghana is an accredited, private, nonprofit university in Ghana and one of the highest-ranked private universities in Ghana. It is the Ghanaian campus of Webster University in Missouri, USA. As a member of the Webster University Network, Webster Ghana students have the option of studying abroad at any of Webster’s campuses located in eight countries and having the same perks as the other campuses.

4. Central University
Central University is the largest private Christian University in Ghana. The institution belongs to the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC). I was established in 1988 as a Pastoral Training Institute. The college later developed its courses to the baccalaureate level, and in line with national aspirations, expanded its programmes to include an integrated and practice-oriented business school, named Central Business School.
In 1998 to highlight its new status as a liberal arts tertiary institution, the university was re-named Central University College.

5. Garden City University College, Kumasi
Garden City University College is another top private university in Ghana. The school was established in Kumasi as the College of Information Technology and Management Systems (CITMAS) in 2001. The College started operating in October 2002 with four main courses:
Certificate in AutoCad, Certificate in Integrated Business Computer Applications, Diploma in Computer Programming and Operations, and Diploma in Network Information Systems.
