The BECE School Placement process has already begun since WAEC has officially released the BECE results.
After WAEC has released the BECE results, the Ministry of Education will soon make it possible for candidates to check the senior high schools they were placed through the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).
Parents and candidates are mainly interested in the senior high schools they were given by the CSSPS since that will prompt their preparations further. If you are one of such and wondering when the 2023 School Placement will be released, kindly stay through this post.
How to Check BECE School Placement
All candidates who have passed their BECE can use the steps to check their BECE placement. This is the best and simplest way to check your BECE school placement.
- Log on to the CSSPS BECE Placement Checker Portal
- Enter your 10-digit BECE index number followed by the year. eg. 100000000020
- Enter the eVoucher Code (12-digit voucher no.)
- Click on the Proceed button
- Wait for a new window with your School Placement to show up
- Print the School Placement you received or save it as PDF to print later
- Present it at your given Senior High School.
When will GES Release 2023 BECE Placement?
The School Placement for 2023 will be released soon after the BECEE results are out.
Steps to Buy a School Placement Checker with MoMo

Below is a step-by-step guide to buying your SHS/CSSPS Placement Checker and paying with Mobile Money (MTN, AirtelTigo, Vodafone):

- Click on “Proceed to Payment”
- On the next screen, choose Mobile Money and enter your MoMo number. You’ll be sent an OTP to confirm.
- Confirm the payment on your phone.
- You will instantly receive an SMS with the BECE Results Checker PIN and instructions to check.
Can I use the School Placement Checker more than once?
Yes, you can use the school placement checker more than once to check your school placement via CSSPS. One placement checker pin gives you unlimited number of checks, meaning you can check as many times as you please.
