How to Apply to KNUST (Ghanaian Applicants)

Below is a step by step guide on how to apply to KNUST as a Ghanaian applicant (click here for international applicants guide)

  1. Purchase KNUST Application e-Voucher from the Post Office
  2. Properly complete the application form
  3. Attach copies of relevant documents (results)
  4. Submit the completed form and documents via post to ‘The Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs) KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana

How to Apply to KNUST (International Applicants)

Below is a step by step guide on how to apply to KNUST as an International applicant (click here for Ghanaian applicants guide)

  1. Visit the KNUST Online Admissions Page (apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/) via a web browser, preferably Google Chrome
  2. CLick on ‘Generate Logins’
  3. Provide your email and select ‘Undergraduate International Applicants’ from the ‘Admission Group’ dropdown
  4. Click on ‘Generate Login’
  5. Visit apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/apply via a web browser, preferably Google Chrome
  6. Enter the Login ID and PIN Number sent to your email and login
  7. Complete your application

What is the deadline for 2022 KNUST Admission?

The deadline for 2022 KNUST admission is Monday, 31st October 2022. Kindly make sure you submit your application before this date.

General Cut-off Point for KNUST Admission (WASSCE)

This is the general cut off point for applying to KNUST, this is subject to change based on the programme of study

  • You must have at least credit passes (A1-C6) in the following Three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science
  • You must have credit passes (A1-C6) in Three Elective Subjects
  • You must have an Aggregate Score of 24 or better in the relevant Area of Study

General Cut-off Point for KNUST Admission (SSSCE)

This is the general cut off point for applying to KNUST, this is subject to change based on the programme of study

  • You must have at least credit passes (A1-D7) in the following Three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science
  • You must have credit passes (A1-D7) in Three Elective Subjects
  • You must have an Aggregate Score of 36 or better in the relevant Area of Study
